Self Catering Cottage Ben More Cottage is a licensed and fully equipped self-catering holiday cottage, sleeping a maximum of 8 people. There are two double rooms and a twin room upstairs, with a new double sofa bed in the sitting room. The bathroom has a bath, an electric rain shower, and a heated towel rail. Each upstairs room has wall-mounted electric heaters and clear views out over Loch Broom towards the Summer and Western Isles. Downstairs, we have large kitchen area, a double-glazed conservatory, and a living room with a log burning stove.

The water supply to the house comes from a private hillside spring. There is a state-of-the art treatment shed at the side of the house which filters and UV-treats all incoming water.

It’s beautiful secluded position situated at the foot of Ben Mor Coigach, with far reaching views out over Loch Broom provides a peaceful holiday retreat. We are dog friendly, but as a working croft with grazing sheep, dogs must be kept under close control at all times inside the fenced Culnacraig reserve. 

The cottage is ideally let from Saturday to Saturday from April-November, but please make inquiries if you are looking for a shorter stay.

Cleaning fees: The remoteness of Ben More Cottage is central to its charm, but it also means house cleaning and turnarounds are difficult arrange. We ask that guests make every effort to leave the house as you've found it, which should be a clean and tidy state, ready to receive the next set of guests. We don't charge a cleaning fee for that reason, which helps keep the costs down.

Ben linen: Most of our guests choose to bring their own ben linen as the easiest option. There is of course a full duplicate set of bed linens for each bed in the house, but we then ask that you wash and dry used sheets etc. before the end of your stay.

The rent includes the use of firewood and electricity.
